KENNESAW KENNEL CLUB

GCH CH Reece Afterhours The Stops Here JH

The Kennesaw Kennel Club was in Marietta GA this weekend.  They asked Thomas Kilcullen to take the first final and choose his BIS and RBIS from the German Wirehaired Pointer, GCH CH Reece Afterhours The Stops Here JH, the Afghan Hound, Jacosta Gold But Not Copper, the Doberman Pinscher, Jaspar's Destiny's Child, the Welsh Terrier, CH Shaireab's Bayleigh Maid Of Honor, the Pug, GCH CH Caper's Sirius Endeavor, the CH Mauldin's Carolina Moon-Shine, and the Australian Shepherd, GCH CH Mysharas Dancing Queen.

He chose the Pug, Rufus, as his Reserve and the GWP, Truman, as his Best In Show.  Four of Truman’s ten  BIS this year have come in the last four weeks.

Sunday, Truman and Rufus would be the only of the Saturday finalists to make it to Patricia Hess’ final.  They would be joined by the 15” Beagle, GCH CH Torquay Be Nice To Me, the Boxer, GCH CH Ho-Pa Grand Slam, the Miniature Schnauzer, CH Legend's B-B-B Bad To The Bone, the Chinese Shar-Pei, GCH CH Padow's Twilight Embrey In A New Moon At Asans, and the Puli, GCH CH Cordmaker Rumpus Bumpus.

Rufus would get the BIS and the points.  The Schnauzer, Harry, would take the RBIS and the bragging rights.  It’s the fourth BIS in 43 final appearances this year for Rufus and breeder/owner/handler Linda Rowell.  Folks, you’re going to want to visit the Pug ring at this year’s AKC/Eukanuba National Championship.
