The Finger Lakes Kennel Club’s show today is the first of four in Romulus NY this week and it drew a very respectable 1500 dogs from all over the US.
Betsy Dale’s final included four of the nation’s Top Ten Dogs. Her seven were the Black Cocker Spaniel, GCH CH Casablanca’s Thrilling Seduction, the Whippet, GCH CH Starline’s Chanel, the Boxer, GCH CH Winfall Brookwood Styled Dream, the American Staffordshire Terrier, GCH CH Castle Rock's Sbigstaff Mad About You, the Affenpinscher, GCH CH Banana Joe V Tani Kazari, the Miniature Poodle, GCH CH Surrey Sugar Baby, and the Border Collie, GCH CH Bon-Clyde's Take One.
Day one went to the country’s Number One Dog, the Cocker, Beckham. These next few weekends could determine the final outcome of our rankings race. Today’s win, Beckham’s 48th BIS of the year, puts him more than 11,000 points ahead of his nearest competitor.
