Folks down in Monroe LA are a pretty tough bunch and it would take more than Tropical Storm Lee to keep exhibitors from the four shows at the Monroe Civic Center this weekend.

The country’s Number One Dog All Breeds, the Black Cocker Spaniel. GCH CH Casablanca’s Thrilling Seduction,  is having a good weekend, taking home three Sporting group Firsts and two BIS so far.  At Friday’s Bayou Kennel Club’s day one show Beckham and handler Linda Pitts shared Charles Trotter’s final with the Whippet, GCH CH Bo-Bett's Speed Demon, the Boxer, GCH CH R and G's Mystical Dancer, the American Staffordshire Terrier, GCH CH Alpine's Ring of Fire, the Maltese, GCH CH Rhapsody's Regarding Henry, the Bichon Frise, GCH CH Saks Hamelot Little Drummer Boy, and the German Shepherd Dog, Zukerdok's Thunderbird.

At the BKC’s day two show, Beckham was Houston Clark’s choice over the Saluki, GCH CH Aurora's Walk This Way, the previously mentioned Boxer, the Border Terrier, GCH CCH Devon Lady Simper Fi, the Blenheim & Prince Charles English Toy Spaniel, GCH CH Royalist Ready To Reign, the above named Bichon, and the Shetland Sheepdog, GCH CH Leeason Rock My Soul.

The two BIS brings Beckham’s 2011 total to 39.
