It is very rare for a dog to sweep a four show cluster, but that’s exactly what the German Shepherd Dog, GCH CH Babheim’s Captain Crunch, did this past weekend in Amana IA.

On Friday at the day one show of the Tri-City Kennel Club, Capi & handler James Moses were accompanied in Jan Paulk’s final by the English Springer Spaniel, GCH CH Wynmoor Champagne Super Nova, the Pharaoh Hound, GCH CH Northgate’s As You Like It, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH Lyndobe’s Turn On Da Charm, the Border Terrier, GCH CH Meadowlake’s Simply Sinful, the Brussels Griffon, CH Endor and Donandru’s New Moon, and the Standard Poodle, CH Dawin Hot and Spicy. At Saturday’s TCKC day two show Arley Hussin had the same seven and the same winner.

Sunday, Charles Olvis took over for the Cedar Rapids Kennel Association and saw five of the prior days finalists and the Boxer, GCH CH Nantess Royal Hot Rod & the Long Coat Chihuahua, CH Rejoyce n’ Chavez Biscotti.  W Everett Dean Jr closed it out Monday for the CRKA choosing Capi over the above named Springer, Pharaoh Hound, & Boxer, and the Welsh Terrier, CH Abbeyrose Jersey Boy, the Papillon, CH Monarch’s Malori Major John, & the Keeshond, GCH CH Baronwood Infinity and Beyond.

Capi’s 2011 record now includes 18 all breed Bests and an incredible 71 Herding Groups.
