CABRILLO KENNEL CLUB

GCH CH Danfour Debutante

In sunny Southern California the place to be this weekend was Valley Center where the Cabrillo Kennel Club held two shows.

On day one George Marquis gathered the Flat-Coated Retriever, GCH CH Blacklace Magic Mocha Sapphire, the Bloodhound, GCH CH Quiet Creek’s Kiss and Tell, the Doberman Pinscher, Shaden’s Nostradamus, the Norwich Terrier, GCH CH Waiterock Jack Falstaff, the Chinese Crested, GCH CH Crrstline Butter Scotch, the Miniature Poodle, GCH CH Danfour Debutante, and the German Shepherd Dog, GCH cH Kaleef Vonmartin Dynasty.

BIS was the Poodle, Banana.  Mark that as number three this year.

Only the Bloodhound would be back on Sunday to see BIS judge Kate Gammill.  Making their first final appearance of the weekend were the German Shorthaired Pointer, GCH CH Robin Crest Great Expectations, the Great Dane, GCH CH Naples Tlbrk Dana San Roques Naika, the Airedale Terrier, GCH CH Brisline’s GoForIt Energizer Bunny, the Toy Poodle, GCH CH Tarbell Take A Chance On Me, the French Bulldog, GCH CH Lebull’s New Hope Wooly Bully, and the Belgian Sheepdog, CH Kindred’s Some Days Are Diamonds.

Her Best In Show was the Belgian Sheepdog, Crystal.. It’s the first BIS this year for Crystal and handler Tiffany Saxon.  Congratulations to Tiffany, breeders Michelle Martin & Roxanne Chumbley and owners  Roxanne Chumbley & Richard Skinner.

  2. Tiffany Saxon is a great handler and has worked hard with the Belgians to bring them to light in California. Crystal is absolutely beautiful and to win a BIS with limited showing is impressive. Congrats to all!
