We want out readers to know that we are still trying to get results on this past weekend’s New York and Michigan shows.  Here’s what we know so far.  The Tonawanda Valley Kennel Club held two shows in Albion NY. Carol Kniebusch Noe’s BIS on Saturday was the Golden Retriever, CH Goodtime's I Rest My Case, bred by Kathy Smith, Lisa Smith & Jane Alston Myers, owned by Kathy, and handled by Cortney Corral.  It was the first  all breed BIS for “F Lee”.

CH Firetown's Out Of The Blue

Roland Pelland’s  top dog on Sunday was the Chinese Shar-Pei, CH Firetown's Out Of The Blue, another first time winner.  The two year old  was bred by Olga Lachapelle, is owned by Marge B Calltharp, and is handled by Tony Raposo.

CH Nonnies No Doubt

There were two sets of shows in Michigan this weekend.  The hometown Marquette Kennel Club set up in Marquette for three days.  On Friday. The English Cocker Spaniel, CH Nonnies No Doubt, was Paula Hartinger’s pick on Friday.  Stevie‘s  breeder/owner is Vickie Umpleby.

CH Ri Lee Ashlyn Diamond Heirloom

Roger Hartinger took over on Saturday and he chose the Tibetan Terrier, CH Ri Lee Ashlyn Diamond Heirloom, as his Best.  Maddie was piloted to the win by breeder/owner Nikkie Kinziger.    This was the first BIS this year for the multiple BIS winner, who is closing in on the breed record for bitches.  She has five now, one shy of the record.

GCH CH Cammcastle’s Friar Tuck

Sunday’s BIS went to country’s Number Four Working Dog, the Rottweiler, GCH CH Cammcastle’s Friar Tuck.   That’s Tux’s ninth BIS of 2010.  Tux, bred by Susan Otto & Angela Payne and owned by Anthony & Vicky O'Brien, is the nation’s Number Four Working Dog.

GCH CH Starline’s Chanel

The second set of shows was in Marshall MI where the Jaxson Kennel Club gave us a pair.  On Saturday a Standard Manchester Terrier from the classes was Ann Yuhasz‘ BIS, Kreuzritter's Follow Your Heart.  We understand this completed the three year old’s championship, bred by Elizabeth Sanford & Traci Miller and owned by Ms Sanford & Diane Wydick. & Elizabeth Sanford.  Carl Gomes went with the country’s Number One Hound, the Whippet, GCH CH Starline’s Chanel.  Chanel was bred by Lori & Carey Lawrence & Dianne Bowen, is owned by the Lawrences, and handled by Lori Wilson.  Our congratulations to all the winners.  We will post the Group winners… if we ever get them.

  1. Channel was Sundays BIS winner, not Saturday. Saturday was a Standard Manchester bitch from Howell, MI. We'll try to get details.
