CAN YOU SEE THE FOREST FOR THE TREES?

GCH CH PalaceGarden Malachy

With all the shows this week it would be easy to miss the forest in the trees.  One clear winner this week is the Pekingese, GCH CH PalaceGarden Malachy.  Today Malachy collected his third Best In Show of the not yet finished weekend at the Salisbury North Carolina Kennel Club show in Raleigh NC.  Rounding out Kenneth Miller’s final were the Black Cocker Spaniel, GCH CH Casablanca’s Thrilling Seduction, the Whippet, GCH CH Sporting Field’s Bahama Sands, GCH CH Winfall Brookwood Styled Dream, the Skye Terrier, CH Cragsmoor Buddy Goodman, the Pekingese, GCH CH PalaceGarden Malachy, the Bulldog, GCH CH Kepley’s Showbiz Razzle Dazzle, and the Briard, CH Dior’s Copper Mine.

Malachy had entered the week having just regained by a slim margin the Number Two All Breeds spot.  Since then he has collected four Group Ones, and three BIS. Putting some distance between him and the rest of the field while gaining a little ground on Number One.  We will be watching the standing closely in the coming weeks.
