AMERICAN WATER SPANIEL BIS

CH Waterway Game CRK Hot Diggity

The Danville Illinois Kennel Club held their two shows this weekend in Georgetown IL.  We did tell you that Robert Frost chose the Doberman Pinscher, CH Protocol's Sic Itur Ad Astra as his BIS on Saturday.  We didn’t tell you that Star and breeder/owner/handler Jocelyn Mullins were accompanied by the American Water Spaniel, CH Waterway Game CRK Hot Diggity, the Whippet, CH Kamada's Instant Millionaire, the Colored Bull Terrier, CH Crescent Silmaril Shadowfax, the Papillon, CH Wingssong Rock Star, the Bulldog, CH Evergreen's Hullabaloo Hustle, and the Bouvier des Flandres, CH Limerick's Shakespeare.

On Sunday, Dana Cline would see the same Water Spaniel, Whippet, Papillon, & Bouvier along with the Doberman Pinscher, CH Urban Pride Sharply Dressed, the Smooth Fox Terrier, CH Pinnacle's Pinball Wizard,  the Chinese Shari-Pei, CH Maplewood's Please Pick This Daisy.  He would chose the winner of the American Water Spaniel Club’s 2009 National Specialty.  It’s his first Sporting Group First as well as his first BIS and the only BIS by an American Water Spaniel this year.  Congratulations to breeders/owners Linda & Jon Hattrem & Pamela Boyer.

  1. It's about time one of the best in a plain brown wrapper was awarded the top prize. Congradulations. Other breeds besides the glamourous deserve to be reconized for their correctness to their breed standard.
