FOUR DAYS OF FUN IN IDAHO

CH Poole's Ide Got Water

The Palouse Hills Dog Fanciers & the Lewis-Clark Kennel Club combined for a four day doggy funfest in Lewiston ID these past four days. We gave you a report on day one. Here’s the rest of the story. The Irish Water Spaniel, CH Poole's Ide Got Water, took Saturday & Sunday’s shows bringing his 2010 total to five all breed BIS, three in the last eight days.

On Saturday Keegan & handler Stacy Duncan were joined in Elliott Weiss’ final by the Black & Tan Coonhound, CH Silver Ridge Showtyme At Windbourne, the Doberman Pinscher, CH Holmrun's Really Truly Mine, the Norwich Terrier, CH Back In Black, the Chinese Crested, Whirlwind He's My Little Deuce Coupe, the French Bulldog, CH Timeliss Cantu's Cajun Cream, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Winsorcastle's Foxlor Tyra. Sunday, BIS was called by Nancy Simmons who had the option of Keegan, the Saluki, CH Carmas Indian Summer, the Rottweiler, CH Von Behrens Royal Flush, the Lakeland Terrier, CH Black Watch On The Rocks, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, CH Full Of Malarkey Miles Of Aisles, the Keeshond, CH Shamrock's Captain Stormalong, and the Puli, CH Lajosmegyi Singin' In The Rain.

Today’s show featured Pete Dawkins calling the final and the Irish Setter, CH Ashton Peaceful Easy Feeling, the abovementioned Coonhound, the Boxer, CH R and G’s Mystical Dancer, the above named Lakeland, the Pekingese, CH Dunkirk Center Stage, the Frenchie from Saturday, and the German Shepherd Dog, CH Von Hamm Bedkar Leathern’ Lace. Best went to the Lakie, surprisingly the first by his breed this year. Congratulations to breeders/owners Jean L Heath, Susan R Atherton & William H Cosby Jr. We don’t know who did the handling, but we’re pretty sure it wasn’t Bill. Just joking, Susan very lovingly handles Scotch...that is, the Lakeland's call name is Scotch. You know what we meant. ;-)

  2. Although the two breeds you pictured aren't the type of dogs I'd own, I do like the dog in the first pic. He's very well groomed!
