Believe it or not we still have one more eastern show to tell you about. From Zolfo Springs, FL we visit the Heartland Dog Club Of Florida who had their two shows this weekend. On Saturday, they asked Kenneth Brown to choose a best from the Sussex Spaniel, CH Remedi's Fastrax Heart O'Gold, the Pharaoh Hound, CH Siphra's No Remorse JC, the Saint Bernard, CH Jamelle's Aristocrat V Elba, the Border Terrier, CH Standish's Total Knock Out, the Shih Tzu, CH Krissy's Tybee Dream Machine, the French Bulldog, CH A'Vigdors Caudataire Du Roi Tuunrat's El Che, and the Rough Collie, CH Sylvan Argent Simply Irresistible. You wouldn’t expect to see the iconic dog from the Alps in Florida, but Kenneth Buxton found one good enough for a BIS. Congratulations to breeders Michele & Jack Mulligan, owners Linda Baker & Edward Baker, and handler Melody Salmi.
Sunday, The Saint and four of Satuday’s finalists, the Pharaoh Hound, the Border Terrier, the Shih Tzu, & the French Bulldog, joined the Black Cocker Spaniel, CH Bracon’s Leapin Lily Pads & the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, CH Riverside In The Dark Zone, in Sandra Goose Allen’s final. She went to the opposite end of the registry choosing the Shih Tzu, bred by Karen L Bey, owned by JoAnn White, and handled by Jennifer Lee Miller. Congratulations to them all.
the judge who judged best in show on saturday was kenneth buxton not brown. the handler for the saint bernard was melody salmi from greenville, maine.
