Our last stop East of the Mississippi is Fond du Lac WI where the Fond Du Lac County Kennel Club hosted a double header this weekend. Saturday it was Eric Ringle in the final ring with the Chesapeake Bay Retriever, CH Sandabar’s Three Wishes, the Smooth Dachshund, CH Isledox Tractor Tug, the Newfoundland, CH Skipper’s Eminence King Of Helluland, the Norfolk, Terrier, CH Max-Well’s Violet, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, CH Appealing Sir Robert, the Standard Poodle, Safari’s Miror Image, and the Belgian Sheepdog, CH Chargany’s Voyageur. He could not overlook the Dachshund, Tug, who picks up his first all breed Best In Show. Congratulations to breeder/ owner Faith W. Overdahl , owner Marylou Mader, and handler Debbie Melgreen.

She chose another dog that could not be overlooked (or was she could not see over), the Newfoundland, Lincoln, his first this year. Lincoln was the number one Newfoundland in 2008 & 2009.
