DOGGING BREAST CANCER

Our first show of the weekend is in the record books. The Griffin Georgia Kennel Club has completed their first day in Marietta GA with Grace Moran calling the Best In Show.

CH Rokeena Carte Blanche
& Handler Jane Myers

Her choices were the Vizsla, CH Annian’s Gone With The Wind JH (Could there be a better name for a dog in a show in Atlanta?), the Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen, CH Rokeena Carte Blanche, the Boxer, CH Rummer Run’s Brigadier, the Welsh Terrier, CH Bayleigh Shaireab’s Super Hero, the Pekingese, CH Lin-Lee’s For The Good Times, the Bichon Frise, CH Risgae Miabella Sweet Georgia, and the German Shepherd Dog, CH Shoal Creek’s Sangria V Barick.

Her BIS was the PBGV, CeeJay. CeeJay is the country’s number one PBGV, among many fine examples of that breed, the number one Hound, and the number five dog all breeds. CeeJay & handler Jane Myers will be absent from the show ring next weekend while Jane does the Tampa Bay Breast Cancer 3-Day, an incredible 60-mile walk to raise money to end breast cancer. You can support Jane’s effort by making a donation here. My wife, Brenda who is a breast cancer survivor, and I have already made a donation. Our thanks to everyone involved with this worthy cause.
