BASSET WINS IN MASSACHUSETTS

The Naugatuck Valley Kennel Club closed out the five day stand in west Springfield MA with Edward F Lyons Jr in the BIS ring.

CH Topsfield-Sanchu Pop Art O’Bridi

Making the final final seven were the Labrador Retriever, CH Casbar’s Hart To Hart, the Basset Hound, CH Topsfield-Sanchu Pop Art O’Bridi, the Boxer, CH Raklyns The Bronx MVP At Third, the Welsh Terrier, CH Marydale’sLimited Edition, the Mimiature Pinscher, CH Kimro’s Soldier Boy, the Bulldog, CH Kepley’s Show Biz Razzle Dazzle, and the Bearded Collie, CH Tolkien Raintree Mister Baggins.

A measure of the competitiveness of this field is that the nation’s number two and four dogs were left behind in their respective groups. Taking home the last BIS of the cluster was the Basset, Artie, from neighboring Vermont. Congratulations to breeder/owner Claudia Orlandi, co-breeders Judi Kinnear & & Jim Bacha, and handler Suzanne Frischmann.
