They do have dog shows in Maine, as proven by today’s Penobscot Kennel Club event in Cumberland.

Joseph Gregory’s New England clambake was attended by the Brittany, CH Tonan-Hope's R U Kiddin' Me, the Afghan Hound, CH Shenandoah Smoke And Mirrors, the Doberman Pinscher, CH Magis Crown Destiny, the Smooth Fox Terrier, CH Lil Itch Cheerleader, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, CH Mondrian VH Lamslag RE, the Dalmatian, CH RK's XTerra's Makin' Whoopee, and the Australian Shepherd, CH Schaefer Vinelake Impulsive.

BIS belonged to Mondo, the country’s number one Cavalier, his third this year. Mondo was bred by J G A Boelaars and is owned by the gifted New York artist, Janet York.
