BACK TO THE BAYOU

When we last checked in on Monroe LA we told you that the Pomeranian, GCH CH Hitimes What The Inferno, was judge Norm Kenney’s BIS at Friday’s Bayou Kennel Club.  The next two days would belong to the nation’s Number Two Dog All Breeds, the Old English Sheepdog, GCH CH Bugaboo’s Picture Perfect.

At Saturday’s BKC encore Swagger impressed judge Robert Schreve more than did his Reserve winner, the Brittany, GCH CH Rainbow Splash’s Ruggedly Handsome, who impressed him more than did the Afghan Hound, GCH CH Zen-Pahlavi You Ain’T Seen Nothing Yet JC, the Akita, GCH CH Stardust’s See You At The Show RN, the Skye Terrier, GCH CH Cragsmoor Good Time Charlie, the previously mentioned Pom, Danny, and the Bichon Frise, GCH CH Saks Winning Card.


GCH CH By U Cal’s Monkey On The Bayou

Sunday Swagger would head judge Gloria Kerr’s lineup at the day one show of the Vicksburg Kennel Club of Mississippi which included the previously seen Brittany, Becket, the RBIS, the Basset Hound, GCH CH By U Cal’s Monkey On The Bayou, the Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, GCH CH Derby’s Toast with Gusto, the returning Skye, Charlie, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, GCH CH Miletree Carnival, and the Tibetan Terrier, GCH CH Ri-Lee Sparkle Plenty.  The two wins brings Swagger’s 2014 record to an impressive 63 BIS.

Judge James White would bring it home on Monday at the VKCM’s closer.  The seven hoping to take home the stop’s last prizes were the Brittany, Becket, the returning Basset, the Great Dane, GCH CH Sweet's Firenrain V Saravilla BN CGC, the Skye, Charlie, the Japanese Chin, GCH CH Dojo's Suikoden Tenmei, the previously seen Bichon, Bingo, and Swagger.

Finishing one/two were Charlie and Beckett.  Charlie is the country’s Number One Terrier and Number Five Dog All Breeds with 19 BIS this season.
