Our top two dogs, the Portuguese Water Dog, GCH CH Claircreek’s Impression de Matisse, and the Old English sheepdog, GCH CH Bugaboo’s Picture Perfect, were busy maintain the status quo this past week as they both collected multiple BIS.
GCH CH Militza’s My Cherie Amour
The PWD, Matisse, was in Manassas VA for two days with the Mattaponi Kennel Club. Saturday Matisse would be judge Sari Brewster Tietjen’s Best In Show out of a seven that included her RBIS, the Irish Setter, GCH CH Militza’s My Cherie Amour, the Bloodhound, GCH CH Flessner's International S'Cess, the Norfolk Terrier, GCH CH Yarrow Venerie Ticket To Ride, the Papillon, GCH CH InVolo The King of Pop, the Dalmatian, GCH CH Spotted Bliss Oreo Delight, and the Belgian Sheepdog, GCH CH Morningstar’s All That Jazz Ma’Am.
Sunday BIS judge Charles Olvis would see the same seven, save one, the Bichon Frise, Barberry’s Take A Chance On Me, and he would place them the same, Matisse with the BIS and the Irish Setter, Adele, with the RBIS. The two wins were worth 1976 points, leaving Matisse with 48 BIS and 62 Working Groups.

Meanwhile the OES, Swagger, was on the opposite coast in the Southern California town of Valley Center. On Saturday Swagger was judge Sulie Greendale-Paveza’s BIS. Joining Swagger in were the RBIS, the Clumber Spaniel, GCH CH Clussexx Over The Legal Limit, the Borzoi, GCH CH Majenkir Bookstor Vintage Glamour, the Great Dane, GCH CH Tue-J’s Pacific Category Five, the Smooth Fox Terrier, GCH CH J’Cobe Broxden Accidentally on Porpoise, the Toy Poodle, CH Sharbelle Greg-Mar International Boy, and the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Del Zarzosa Salvame From Afterglow.
GCH CH Clussexx Over The Legal Limit
Sunday judge Frank Sabella would choose the same BIS and RBIS from a seven that also included the Longhaired Dachshund, GCH CH Walmar-Solo’s IOU, the GCH CH Blackhawk Meyer Of Comiskey Park, the Norwich Terrier, GCH CH Michan’s Mick Like A Rolling Stone, the Pomeranian, GCH CH Hitimes What The Inferno, and the above named Standard Poodle. The win was Swagger’s fifth in a row and his 29th in 53 final appearances this year.
