The Portuguese Water Dog, GCH CH Claircreek’s Impression de Matisse, became the first dog of 2014 to hit the century mark, collecting his 100th career BIS at today’s Greater Fredericksburg Kennel Club show in that Virginia city.

Judge Jon Cole also liked the English Setter, GCH CH Weymouths En Fuego, who accepted his third straight RBIS of the stop.  Rounding out the final were the Wirehaired Dachshund, GCH CH Legibach Captain Crunch SW, the Wire Fox Terrier, CH Crispy Legacy, the Toy Poodle, CH Smash Jp beauty and the Beat, the Xoloitzcuintli, GCH CH Bayshore Giorgio Armani, and the German Shepherd Dog, CH Lockenhaus Rumor Has It V Kenlyn.

It was the fifth straight BIS this year by 2013’s Number Two Dog All Breeds.   Wonder if he might be 2014’s Number One Dog by Monday?  Our congratulations to breeder.owner Donna Gottdenker, owners Milan Lint & Peggy Helmin, and handler Michael Scott.
