FIRST TIME BIS IN MASSACHUSETTS

CH Collinswood Sparks Fly

One of the most exciting things about the month of January is the number of new dogs we see in the final ring.  Judge Adrian Woodfork saw mostly first time Group winners in his BIS ring at yesterday’s Merrimack Kennel Club show in West Springfield MA.  They were the Irish Water Spaniel, GCH CH Whistlestop’s Riley on Fire, the Norwegian Elkhound, GCH CH Somerri Jamieson’s Sea Whiskey, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH Tallyesyn N Adria’s Pacific Ice V Kendon, the Wire Fox Terrier, CH Br’er Fox Philippa Of Hunterston, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, GCH CH Piccadil’s Twist And Shout, the Bichon Frise, CH Ecco Lormi’s True Grit Of Dove Cote, and the Australian Shepherd, CH Collinswood Sparks Fly.

Picking up her first BIS was the Aussie, Ember.  Taking home the RBIS was the two year old Bichon.  It was not only Ember’s first BIS, but also her first Group One.  Congratulations to breeder/owner/handler & Jessica Plourde, breeder/owner Terri Collins, and owners Karen Mallory & Belinda Rhoads.
