One place we did not visit this weekend was Elgin IL where the  hometown Elgin kennel Club hosted two shows.  Saturday’s final found judge Patricia Ulloa going over the English Setter, GCH CH Aerden’s Pretty in Pink JH, the Saluki, GCH DC Karob Parmenides At Elea SC, the Doberman Pinscher, CH Rolin’s No Reservations, the Russell Terrier, GCH CH Goldsands Columbus, the Havanese, CH Tapscott’s Total Recall For Brylee, the Bulldog, GCH CH Newcomb’s Pandamonium @ Beda, and the Bouvier des Flandres, GCH CH Cam’s Rogue Warrior CD THD.

Her Best In Show was the Bouvier Max.  Her Reserve Best In Show was the Russell, Bosse.  It’s the first BIS and the first Group One for Max this year.  Congratulations to breeder/owner Marilyn L Adams, co-breeder Catherine Humphrey, and owners Brian & Pam Sturgill. If anyone recognizes the photographer's signature, please let us know.  We want to give them credit for the lovely photo.

Sunday the English Setter, Kiki, and the Russell Terrier, Bosse would be the only of Saturday’s finalists to make it to Arlene Czech’s final.  They were joined by the Borzoi, CH C’Lestial Orient Express, the Standard Schnauzer, GCH CH Blackhawk Finnegan’s Wake, the Pomeranian, GCH CH Tab’s Scootin’ Boomer Of Storm, the Miniature Poodle, GCH CH Dimarko Endurance, and the Shetland Sheepdog, Blue Heavens Heat Wave.

Judge Czech would go with the repeat finalists as her BIS and her RBIS with the Russell, Bosse, getting the top prize and the Setter, Kiki, accepting the reserve award.  Bosse is the nation’s Number Two Terrier and the Number Eight Dog All Breeds with 17 BIS and 58 Terrier Groups.
