THREE DAYS IN ABILENE

Before we start with this weekend’s results we bring you the last of catch up reports.  First from Abilene TX we have this on the hometown Abilene Kennel Club’s three shows last weekend.   Frederick Dewsbury had the day one final on Friday and his choice of the Brittany, GCH CH Rainbow Splash’s Ruggedly Handsome, the Whippet, GCH CH Starline's Oxford Victim Of Love, the Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, GCH CH Derby's Toast with Gusto, the Scottish Terrier, Kelwyn's History In The Making, the Papillon, GCH CH Involo The King Of Pop, the Bichon Frise, GCH CH Saks Winning Card, and the Belgian Tervuren, GCH CH Tacara's Racelon Rembrandt NA NAJ OF.

Copping the opener’s BIS was the Brittany, Beckett.  Reserve went to the Greater Swiss, Gus.  It’s the first for Beckett and handler Clint Livingston.  Congratulations to Clint, breeders  Kathy Hogan & Elud Archuleta Cressler, and owners  Carolee Douglas, J & A Andras, K Mogan, & A Cone.

The Papillon, Bichon, & Tervuren would all make it back to the final ring to see judge Judy Webb.  They would be joined by the English Springer Spaniel, Foxboro Rendition Top Call, the Saluki, Appalachia's Allamyrra Hajji, the Akita, GCH CH Stardust's See You At The Show, and the Lakeland Terrier, CH Hi-Kel Terrydale Fortune Forward.

She would prefer the Papillon, Jackson, to the Lakeland, Dru, whom she would prefer to the all the rest.  It’s the fifth BIS of the year for Jackson and handler Brian Livingston.

CH Alfredrich Indigo Dark Roast Of Robbsdale

Bringing it home on Sunday was judge Dianne Miller.  The seven that stayed to the end to see her were the Pointer, CH Chesterhope State Of T Art, the previously seen Whippet, Akita, Lakeland, & Papillon, the Dalmatian, CH Alfredrich Indigo Dark Roast Of Robbsdale, and the Australian Shepherd, GCH CH Harmony Hills Money Talks.

Taking home the final big rosette was the Dalmatian, Bosco.  Jackson, the Papillon, collected the Reserve award.  It’s the first of the year for Bosco and handler Andrew Mansfield.  Congratulations to Andrew, breeder/owner  Jean Richard Millaire, co-breeder Diane Brake, and owners  Tim Robbins, Daniel Goebel, & Edward Osowski.
