CH Crispy Legacy

Point hungry competitors have focused on communities around Philadelphia the past two weekends.  April 26-28 Bear DE hosted the Wilmington Kennel Club’s and the Penn Treaty Kennel Club’s three shows.

GCH CH Kiarry’s Pandora’s Box

Friday’s WKC final was called by Houston Clark.  Judge Clark’s seven hopefuls were the English Springer Spaniel, CH Cerise Sentinel, the American Foxhound, GCH CH Kiarry’s Pandora’s Box, the Giant Schnauzer, GCH CH Skansen's Havannah, the Wire Fox Terrier, CH Crispy Legacy, the Long Coat Chihuahua, Matriart LG Muffin, the Keeshond, CH Showtyme’s Happy Feet, and the Briard, GCH CH Deja Vu Mia Cool As A Cucumber.

Best went to the Wire, Sparky, and Reserve went to the Foxhound, Jewel.  It was the third BIS of the year for Sparky and handler Ernesto Lara.

Saturday Sparky and Jewel were back to BIS judge Mary Ann Alston along with the Irish Setter, GCH CH Northwind's First Reign, the Portuguese Water Dog, GCH CH Claircreek Impression de Matisse, the Affenpinscher, GCH CH Yarrow’s Hi-Tech Ben There Done That, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Del Zarzoso Salvame From Afterglow, and the Cardigan Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Aubrey's Tails Of Mystery.

Sparky & Jewel would watch the Portie, Matisse, and the Standard Poodle, Dino, collect the BIS & RBIS.

GCH CH Rinchen's Blazing Black Icon

Betsy Horn Humer had the closer in Bear for the PTKC and her pick of the German Shorthaired Pointer, GCH CH Robin Crest Edelmarke Investigator, the Foxhound, Jewel, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH D’s Remember When, the Colored Bull Terrier, GCH CH Banbury Bedrock Bright Star Bright, the above named Affenpinscher, the Tibetan Terrier, GCH CH Rinchen's Blazing Black Icon, and the Australian Shepherd, CH Wyndstar Honorable Mention.

Best went to Jewel, the Foxhound, and Reserve to the Tibetan Terrier, Michael.  That’s lucky 13 for Jewel and breeder/owner/handler Lisa Miller.

GCH CH Involvo The King of Pop

The following weekend would start on Saturday in Erwinna PA with the Bucks County Kennel Club show.  Keke Kahn had the difficult job of choosing among the Irish Water Spaniel, GCH CH Whistlestop's Riley On Fire, the Saluki, GCH CH Quanmarra Thonolan, the PWD, Matisse, the Norfolk Terrier, GCH CH Yarrow Venerie Ticket to Ride, the Papillon, GCH CH Involvo The King of Pop, the Lowchen, CH Paceaway Play It Again, and the Bouvier des Flandres, GCH CH Robbin's Majestic Serenade RN CGC.

She settled on Matisse and the Papillon, Jackson, as her Best and Reserve.  Matisse, the Number Two Dog All Breeds, has been in hot pursuit of Number One for these past several weeks.  The wins bring to 21 the number of BIS that Matisse has through May 6th.  More importantly they cut the Number One Dog’s lead by over 1,000 points.

Taking home the BIS and all those points was the Welsh, Jennie.  Getting the RBIS and the photo op was the Sammie, Candie.  The big win is Jennie’s third of the year and it will put her in a dead heat with the Miniature Schnauzer, GCH CH Allaruth Just Kidding v Sole Baye, for the Number Three spot in the Terrier Group.

GCH CH Jamelle's Aristocrat V Elba

Monday’s entry was less than half of the previous day, but was still hotly contested.   Marjorie Tuff would choose her Best and Reserve from the Black Cocker Spaniel, GCH CH Mario N Beechwoods Midnight Express, the American Foxhound, Jewel, the Saint Bernard, GCH CH Jamelle's Aristocrat V Elba, the Wire Fox Terrier, GCH CH AfterAll Painting the Sky, Sunday’s Toy Group winner, the Peke, Rodger, the Lhasa Apso, Ta Sen Westgate On A High, and the Bearded Collie, GCH CH Dunhill Celebration.
