GCH CH Saks Winning Card
We return to Texas for reports on the last three
weekends. First from Crosby and the
Baytown Kennel Club. Christie Smith had
the judge’s book at the day one final and her pick of the Irish Setter, GCH CH Militza's
Glamorous Attire, the Basenji, CH Ahmahr Nahr's Hallelujah Makes A Joyful Noise,
the Boxer, CH Breho Fortuity Shared Treasure, the Lakeland Terrier, GCH CH Hi-Kel
Terrydale Fortune Forward, the Maltese, GCH CH Rhapsody N Cherub's Oh So Henry,
the Bichon Frise, GCH CH Saks Winning Card, and the Bouvier des Flandres, CH
Quiche's Infinity And Beyond.

Her Best was the Bichon, Bingo, and her Reserve was the Maltese,
Ohso. Bingo is the nation’s Number One
Bichon and the Number Four Non-Sporting Dog with six BIS.

Bingo and the above named Basenji, Lakeland, Maltese, &
Bouvier would return on Sunday to see judge Judy Webb. Joining them were the Pointer, CH Chesterhope
State Of T Art, and the Giant Schnauzer, GCH CH Skansen’s Harvard. This time the RBIS would go to Bingo and the
BIS would fall to the Pointer, Miley.
The following weekend the action would move to Marshall where
the Caddo Kennel Club of Texas hosted
two shows. At Saturday’s final the
Pointer, Miley, would make it two in a row.
Judge Paula Hartinger would select another Rhapsody Maltese as her
Reserve, CH Rhapsody's Someone Like You.
Rounding out the final seven were the aforementioned Saluki, GCH CH Issabaa’s Gogothegold, the Leonburger,
Kalahari's Call To Attention, the Smooth Fox Terrier, GCH CH Sayo's Jai Ho,
the Chinese Shar-Pei, GCH CH Jade East
Do You Know The Way To San Jose, and the Australian Shepherd, GCH CH Harmony
Hill’s Money Talks.
CH Rhapsody's Someone Like You
The two wins gives Miley seven BIS on the year. Look for her to really move up in the
rankings after the summer’s big shows in Texas.
Sunday judge Robert Hall would see the Pointer, Miley, the
Ibizan Hound, CH Serandida East So Bigstar, the Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, GCH
CH Derby's Toast with Gusto, the West Highland White Terrier, TullyBloom's
Classified Credendials, Saturday’s RBIS, the Maltese, Adele, the previously seen
Shar-Pei, Jose, and the same Australian Shepherd, Cash.
He would choose the Shar-Pei, Jose, as his Best and Adele,
the Maltese, as his Reserve. Jose is the
country’s Number Three Non-Sporting Dog with three big BIS.
CH Pocket's Ameci
This past weekend Texan exhibitors gathered in Denton for
the hometown kennel club’s shows. The
seven dogs that made it to Alane Gomez’ final on day one were the Golden Retriever,
CH Vanreel's There Goes My Money CD, the Whippet, GCH CH Starline's Oxford
Victim Of Love, the Mastiff, GCH CH Willow Ridges Risky Business, the Cairn
Terrier, GCH CH Dogwood’s Treasure Hunter, the Pug, CH Pocket's Ameci, the
Keeshond, Ruttkay Chance, and the Cardigan Welsh Corgi, CH Riverside Telltail
Coco Posh.
The two that caught judge Gomez eye were her BIS, the Pug,
Ameci, and her RBIS, the Golden, Token.
It’s the first BIS for the 22
month old dog. Congratulations to
breeder/owner Rosemary Robles, owner Jane Bale-Woodside, and handler Brooke
Young.
GCH CH Involo The King Of Pop
Five of Saturday’s finalist would be joined by the Boxer, CH
Breho Fortuity Shared Treasure, and the Papillon, GCH CH Involo The King Of Pop,
on Sunday to plead their case with BIS judge Nelson Huber.

It would be the two newcomers who would succeed. The Papillon, Jackson, would collect the BIS
and the Boxer, Milee. Jackson now has
four BIS on his 2013 resume.
