It was a new two at the top, the Border Terrier, Maya, with the Reserve award, and the Deerhound, Chant, taking home her first Best In Show of the year. This beauty has posted one BIS in each of the last three years in very limited showing. We hope we get to see more of her in the future. Congratulations to breeders/owners Cecilia L Dove & Dr R Scott Dove and handler Angela Lloyd.
The Mid-Kentucky Kennel Club closed the set giving Walter Sommerfelt the final final and his pick of the now familiar Springer, Affenpinscher, Standard Poodle, & Puli, the Longhaired Dachshund, GCH CH Briardach’s Rock Star, the Standard Schnauzer, GCH CH Blackhawk Finnegan's Wake, and the Scottish Terrier, GCH CH Lomondview Clementina.
The last two standing were the Poodle, London, who picked up his second RBIS of the set and the Schnauzer, Finn, who got the BIS. The win, his second of the year, comes on the heels of three consecutive Working Group wins last weekend at the huge Santa Barbara CA shows and a BIS at the presitgious Saturday Santa Barbara Kenel Club show.
Pretty sure the std schn won one of those bests at Santa Barbara last wknd.
ReplyDeleteThat would be the Standard Schnauzer's second BIS, right? He got one in Santa Barbara, as seen in the photo.
