Our sources tell us that all three of our Top Dogs have scored BIS wins today.  The Number One Dog, the Springer Spaniel, GCH CH Wynmoor Champagne Supernova, copped the day’s biggest prize, the Sawnee Mountain Kennel Club Of Georgia, with an entry of over 1800 dogs.

GCH CH Jaset’s Satisfaction

Charles Trotter’s Reserve BIS today was the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Jaset’s Satisfaction, the Number Ten Dog.  Also in the mix were the Number Three Dog, the Kuvasz, GCH CH Szumeria’s Wildwood Silver Six Pence, the Greyhound, GCH CH GrandCru Orion With Mistweave, the Skye Terrier, CH Of Skyeline Captain Hook, the Pug, GCH CH Caper’s Sirius Endeavor, and the Australian Shepherd, GCH CH Myshara’s Dream Girl.

GCH CH Mt View’s Ripsnorter Silver Charm

Meanwhile the Number Two Dog, the German Wirehaired Pointer, GCH CH Mt View’s Ripsnorter Silver Charm, was in Topeka KS accepting the big rosette from Denny Mounce at today’s Topeka Kennel Club show.   It was a record setting day as Oakley and handler Phil Booth picked up their 49th career Best In Show, one more than the previous record holder, Oakley's littermate, GCH CH Ripsnorter’s Mt View Lookout.  Congratulations to Team Oakley, breeders Helen George & Claire Wisch & Kelly Wisch, owner Victor Malzoni Jr, and handler Phil Booth.

Taking the runner up spot was the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Dawin Hearts on Fire. Joining the party were the Saluki, GCH CH Sandstorm Blue Nile Bubbles of Jatara, the Rottweiler, GCH CH Chancellor High Flyin Gladiator, the Kerry Blue Terrier, GCH CH Dornick’s El Capitan, the Japanese Chin to be named later, and the Australian Shepherd, GCH CH Harmony Hill's Money Talks.

GCH CH Protocol’s Veni Vidi Vici

The Number Three Dog, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH Protocol’s Veni Vidi Vici, stayed close to home and collected the top prize at the Sugarbush Kennel Club’s day one show in Chagrin Falls OH.

GCH CH J’Cobe Broxden Danea

Carl Gene Lipemann might have chosen the Pointer, GCH CH Oncore Mykyna Storm, a Saluki from the Open Bitch class, Starlite-Karob Shaken Not Stirred, the Italian Greyhound, GCH CH GDM Zenyatta At Lakeside, the Schipperke, CH Rivendel’s Smokin’ Joe, and the Pyrenean Shepherd, GCH CH La Brise Sun Bear, but he didn’t.  He did choose the Smooth Fox Terrier, GCH CH J’Cobe Broxden Danea as his RBIS.

We will wait for the numbers, but it would seem that it is now a three way race to the finish.
