BI-COASTAL IRISH WATER SPANIELS

GCH CH Whistlestop’s Riley on Fire

New York fanciers spent a leisurely three days in Apalachin NY this past weekend for the Susque-Nango Kennel Club’s and the Tioga County Kennel Club’s three shows.  However one dog kept busy,  the Irish Water Spaniel, GCH CH Whistlestop’s Riley on Fire, spent the time collecting three Sporting group Ones & two BIS.

GCH CH Tinkertime Justus Smooth Operator

On Friday Riley and handler Richard Krieger plead their case with Robert Indeglia at the SNKC’s final.  Judge Indeglia’s Reserve was the French Bulldog, GCH CH Tinkertime Justus Smooth Operator.  Also on hand were the American Foxhound, GCH CH Kiarry’s Pandora’s Box, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH D’s Remember When, the Lakeland Terrier, GCH CH Larkspur Acadia Save Me a Spot, the Pug, GCH CH Castlerock Pine Cone Mountain Rain, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Nchanted Silk Lining.

GCH CH Involvo The King of Pop

Charles Olvis had the TCKC’s final on Saturday and Riley, the Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen, GCH CH Celestial CJ’s All’s Well That Ends Well, the Boxer, GCH CH Draco Greets Dassin with Fourbears, the Kerry Blue Terrier, CH Class Act by Hallsblu, the Papillon, GCH CH Involvo The King of Pop, the Keeshond, GCH CH KJ’s It’s Nothing Purrsonal, and the Beauceron, GCH CH Beowolf Rime des Monts du Lac.  His Top Two were Riley and his RBIS, the Papillon, Jackson.

As you read  below Riley’s sister, Annah, was also picking up a big BIS in Enumclaw WA on Sunday.  Annah is the Number One Irish Water Spaniel in breed points, but Riley is Number One in all breed points with five all breed Best to her credit this year.  Now that’s a sister act we can endorse.

GCH CH Beowolf Rime des Monts du Lac

Riley would go for the hat trick at Sunday’s TCKC show.  Robert Stein also considered the above named Foxhound, Doberman, Frenchie, and Beauceron, the Cairn Terrier, GCH CH Rocco’s Collar King Carl XVI Gustav  and the Miniature Pinscher, GCH CH Kimro’s Dora The Explorer,

The Frenchie, Kegan, would pick up his second Reserve of the weekend, while the Beauceron, Rime, would collect his first BIS of the year.  Rime lead all Beauceron in all breed points with one BIS and 19 Herding Groups. Congratulations to Congratulations to breeder Eric Vavassori, owners Paul Prager & Joanne Prager, and handler Michelle Scott.
