MORE BACK2BACK BIS

GCH CH Casablanca’s Thrilling Seduction

One of the most enjoyable stops on the West Coast dog show calendar is the Sir Francis Drake Kennel Club’s events at the Solano County Fairgrounds in Vallejo CA.  This year it was more than the convenient location to enjoy.

Making an infrequent West Coast appearance was the AKC’s Number One Dog All Breeds, the Black Cocker Spaniel, GCH CH Casablanca’s Thrilling Seduction.  Beckham made the most of the visit by adding another back2back BIS weekend to his resume.

Adding to the festivities was an appearance in Michele Billings' final by the much beloved professional handler, Taffe McFadden, who is back in the show ring after a long and difficult illness.   Taffe and the Boston Terrier, GCH CH Ken's N' Roobarb's N' The Horse You Rode In On, joined Beckham, the Basset Hound, GCH CH Blossomhil's Hello Dolly, the Samoyed, GCH CH Rossia's Denali Star, the Kerry Blue Terrier (piloted by Taffe’s husband, Bill McFadden), GCH CH Perrisblu Kennislain's Chelsey, the Pekingese, GCH CH Windemere's Dusting Of White At Pevyne, and Australian Shepherd, CH Woodstock's Belle Starr.

The two BIS gives Beckham a comfortable lead over the rest of the Top Ten with three full months yet to go in the season.
