Happily we have results from this week's Lubbock TX shows in a very timely fashion.  The energetic Heart of the Plains Kennel Club is doing four shows this weekend.  Here’s what’s happened so far.

On Thursday the Golden Retriever, GCH CH Glengowan's Great Balls Of Fire, the Pharaoh Hound, GCH CH Northgate’s as You Like It, the Giant Schnauzer, CH Skansen's Harvard, the Wire Fox Terrier, GCH CH Steele Your Heart, the Papillon, GCH CH Copella's Rising Attraction, the Bichon Frise, GCH CH Saks Hamelot Little Drummer Boy, and the Rough Collie, CH Sylvan Argent It's All About Me, lined up to plead their case with BIS judge Keke Kahn.

Day one belonged to Qing, the winningest Pharaoh Hound in AKC history.  Handler Brian Livingston and Qing now have 43 career BIS, 28 this year.

Jane Kay had the judge’s book in today’s final ring.  Joining her were the German Shorthaired Pointer, GCH Kan-Point's Leading The Chase, the Pharaoh Hound, Qing, the Dogue de Bordeaux, GCH CH Evergreen's Rub My Belly At Rising Star, the previously mentioned Wire Fox, Papillon, & Bichon, and the Smooth Collie, GCH CH Bit O'Heaven's Sorceress.

Her Best was the Wire, Eira.  Eira and handler Gabriel Rangel are at the top of their game with eleven BIS this year, most of them coming in the last 90 days.
