MONTANA MARATHON CONTINUES

We have neglected the Montana Marathon these past few days.  So let’s catch you up.  When last we checked in with our band of doggy gypsies they had just left Billings for Great Falls and the Electric City Kennel Club’s two shows.

GCH CH Marienburg’s Maserati at Northstar

Sunday the whole crowd reconvened in Missoula MT for the Five Valley Kennel Club’s three shows.  Day one’s final featured Dr Robert Smith going over the return finalists the Weimaraner, the Smooth Fox, & the Standard Poodle.  Whippet, GCH CH Endeavor’s White Roses on Nysa Hill, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH Marienburg’s Maserati at Northstar, the Pomeranian, GCH CH CR Simply Irresistible, and the Bouvier des Flandres, GCH CH Rocheuses Me and My Shadow at Cornus.

It was the Doberman, Tess, picking up her first BIS.  Just two year’s old we expect to see more of this beauty.  All we have right now is the puppy photo, but she was a gorgeous puppy, yes?  Congratulations to breeder/owner Lisa Carnes and co-breeder Mary Rodgers.

GCH CH Brighton Lakeridge Encore

Yesterday, judge Timothy Doxtater’s lineup included the aforementioned Weimaraner, Pharaoh Hound, Boxer, Smooth Fox, Standard Poodle, & Bouvier, and the Maltese, GCH CH Rhapsody’s Regarding Henry.  His Best In Show was the Poodle Ally.  The win, her 24th this year, will giver her sole possession of the Number Two Dog All Breeds spot.

The eight day trek wraps up today in Missoula with the day three show of the Five Valley KC.
