THREE DAYS IN COSTA MESA CA

GCH CH Slyfox Sneaks A Peek

As usual Southern Californian residents were enjoying beautiful weather and gorgeous canines at this weekend’s shows.  It all started on Friday in Costa Mesa with the first of Shoreline Dog Fanciers Association Of Orange County’s two shows.

Day one featured Luc Boileau’s final of the English Setter, GCH CH Oakley’s Bedazzled, the Whippet, GCH CH Sporting Field’s Bahama Sands, the Mastiff, GCH CH Lexington Divine’s Put Me In, Coach, the Smooth Fox Terrier, GCH CH Slyfox Sneaks A Peek, the Pomeranian, GCH CH Powerpom High Performance, the French Bulldog, GCH CH Bayhill Celebrate, and the Bouvier des Flandres, GCH Ch Avalaon Frontier Sleepnlady Webber.

His BIS was AKC’s Number Ten Dog All Breeds, the Smooth Fox, Adam.  We are lucky to have two great Smooth Fox out this season.  We hope you have had a chance to see them both.  Adam and handler Eddie Boyes now have 25 top prizes this year

GCH CH Lexington Divine’s Put Me In, Coach

Michael Dachel had BIS duty on day two and his seven included the aforementioned Mastiff & Pom, the Weimaraner, GCH CH Silhouette LifeInTheFastLane, the Longhaired Dachshund, CH Suntekel’s Samuel II, the Airedale, GCH CH Sherwood’s King Arthur, the Miniature Poodle, CH Sanfour Debutante, and the Australian Cattle Dog, GCH CH Carben Copy’s If The Shoe Fits.  He chose the Mastiff, Giambi, as his Best.  It’s the second this year for the two year old.

GCH CH Tahon’s Mowgli

On Sunday, the Malibu Kennel Club and Robert Stein took over.  His final seven were the already named English Setter, Smooth Fox, Pom, Poodle, & Cattle Dog, the Afghan Hound, GCH CH Tahon’s Mowgli, and the Boxer, GCH CH Duba Dae’s Who’s Your Daddy.  It was the Afghan, Mowgli, striding to the win.  The elegant six year old has five all breed BIS this year.  The fun in Costa Mesa continues today with the MKC’s day two show.
