SUNDAY IN DALLAS TX

GCH CH Saks Hamelot Little Drummer Boy

While most of the Top Ten were scrambling around the eastern seaboard for the last few points of the year,  Texans were enjoying three days of big entries in Dallas.  Today’s Texas Kennel Club show capped a three day, 6000 plus dogs weekend.  The seven who made it to Janet Allen’s final were the Black Cocker Spaniel, GCH CH Casablanca’s Thrilling Seduction, the Saluki, GCH CH Aurora’s Walk This Way, the Mastiff, CH Lazy D's Bonnie Blu, the Smooth Fox Terrier, J’Cobe Broxden The Headliner, the Blenheim & Prince Charles English Toy Spaniel, GCH LouJon Backroads to Paris , the Bichon Frise, GCH CH Saks Hamelot Little Drummer Boy, and the Cardigan Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Heart of Gold Power Play.

The dog she chose as her BIS was the Bichon, Drummer.  Drummer and handler Scott Sommer, fresh from last week’s final seven appearance at the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship, collect their fifth top prize of the year.

  2. Hi Billy! I'm catching up on my reading and that sweet Bichon photo you posted caught my eye! I was thrilled to see Drummer win Best of Breed at Long Beach!!! He's an incredible dog with a wonderful "stage presence." Thanks for sharing that photo.
