BIS HERE & THERE

GCH CH Knolland Amber Moon

We have a few Saturday BIS reports to get to before we start reporting today’s results.   From Mason City IA, we hear that the Brussels Griffon, GCH CH Knolland Amber Moon, was Jerry Watson’s pick for BIS at the day one show of the hometown Mason City Kennel Club.  We should all have family trees like the Griff, Lainey.  Her father was the Number One Brussels Griffon of all time, the inimitable, CH Cilleine Masquerade, and her mother is the Number One Brussels Griffon Bitch of all time, CH Knolland Miss Suzy.  This was 15 month old Lainey’s second all breed Best.

The Black Mountain Kennel Club of Nevada is set up for two days in Primm NV south of Las Vegas.  On day one Debbie Campbell chose the Black Cocker Spaniel, GCH CH Markann-N-Kk's Charlotte's Winning Web, for the Best In Show.  It’s the first BIS this year for Charlotte.  Congratulations to breeders/owners Dr K Ann Jeglum & Karen Kohlmeyer, co-breeders Gloria Riegel & Joel Riegel, and handler Tracy Lynn Carroll.

Down in sunny southern California, the Cabrillo Kennel Club is in the lovely costal town of Del Mar for the weekend.   Angela Porpora’s BIS on Saturday was the Wirehaired Dachshund, CH Verdon's Devil In Disguise MW.  It’s the first Best for the five year old this year.  Congratulations to breeders Starr Henderson & Cynthia Kennard, and owners Sherry Snyder & Starr Henderson.
