SCOTTIE BIS IN PARADISE

CH Slievecroob Mic'Olene

While we wait for today’s results, how about a visit to paradise?  Yesterday the West Oahu Kennel Club held the first of two shows this weekend in Ewa (Honolulu) HI.  Gloria Geringer’s BIS was the Irish born Scottish Terrier, CH Slievecroob Mic'Olene.  Also on hand were a Brittany from the Open Bitch class, RJ’s She’s All In, the Rhodesian Ridgeback, GCCH CH Pupukearidge Ikaika O Sprngvly, the Rottweiler, CH DBR’s Wind Beneath My Wings, the Pomeranian, CH Woodrose’s Causin’ A Commotion, the Miniature Poodle, CH Nalani Regency Time Brings Hope, and the Rough Collie, CH Corjalin Clearwater Revival Rae.   That’s the third BIS this year for the not yet three year old Mic who is the only Scottie to win a BIS this since CH Roundtown Mercedes Of Maryscot won BIS at this year’s Westminster Kennel Club show back in February.  Congratulations to breeders Craig Aiken & E Aiken and owner William Kamai.   We now have a real photo of the winner and are delighted how close to our fantasy it comes.

  3. That brings up a good question. What happened to Sadie after Westminster?
All I had heard(on her appearance on the view)was she was to be impregnated.
So my guess she is in month 6 out of 9 (If she was for lack or a better term laid in February) and won't hear anything until November.

  4. Dogs aren't pregnant for 9 months like humans. They are only pregnant for around 63 days. If she had been scheduled to conceive pups right after Westminster, they'd be about 4 months old already!

Also, didn't Ch. Blueberry Surely You Jest already win a BIS earlier this year? Either way, congrats to the winner!
