OKLAHOMA CITY KC CLOSER

CH J’Cobe Kemosabe Vigilante Justice

There’s just something about great competitors that sets them apart, like winning big when the chips are down.  Here in the last couple of weeks, our top five dogs have been posting multiple BIS all over the country.  Saturday, we thought we might have a new Number One this week.

However the Smooth Fox Terrier, CH J’Cobe Kemosabe Vigilante Justice once again answered the challenge, closing the  big weekend in Oklahoma City with the must do Best In Show at the day two show of the Oklahona City Kennel Club.  Joining Dodger in Lorraine Boutwell’s final were a German Shorthaired Pointer to be named later, the Pharaoh Hound, CH Northgate’s As You Like It, the Boxer, CH Winfall's I Dream of Style , the Pekingese, CH PalaceGarden Malachy, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Dawin Spitfire, and the German Shepherd Dog, CH Kridler’s Nutmeg V Signature.

The four days in Oklahoma City turned out to be one of the premier stops this year.  For those of us who didn’t get to see it live, we will get a chance to see Saturday’s show televised soon.  Will keep you informed on the schedule.

  2. I wonder if AKC will ever consider a ban on croping ears and docking tails in all dogs at their shows?
Many people feel that the unadulterated dog is handsomer and happier (what can replace a wagging tail?)
