SIX DAYS IN IDAHO

CH Sky Acres Spy Plane

You may recall that this dog show week started in Filer ID on Tuesday.  We pick up that action at the Eagle Rock Kennel Club’s Saturday show in Blackfoot ID.  Charlotte Clem McGowan’s seven were the German Wirehaired Pointer, CH Ripsnorter's Mt View Lookout, the Black & Tan Coonhound, CH Silver Ridge Showthyme At Windbourne, the Portuguese Water Dog, CH Aviator's Luck Be A Lady, the Miniature Schnauzer, CH Allaruth Solebay Chipothgoldblok, the Affenpinscher, CH Tamarin Top Banana, the Finnish Spitz, CH Pikkinokka's This Girl Rockz, and the Belgian Tervuren, CH Sky Acres Spy Plane.  It’s the first BIS this year for Spy and breeder/owner/handler Michelle Edling.  Spy, who had six BIS last year, is co-owned by Wayne Thompson.   Congratulations to Michelle & Wayne.

CH Tamarin Top Banana

Sunday, Robert Jacobsen took over for the day two show with aforementioned GWP, Affenpinscher, & Spitz, the Rhodesian Ridgeback, Regulus Speeding Bullet, the Boxer, CH Duba-Dae's Who's Your Daddy, the Smooth Fox Terrier, CH Warfox High Mtn Rocky Mountain High, and the Border Collie, CH Borderfame Signature.  It was the Affenpinscher, Topper, collecting his fifth BIS for 2010.

  2. and if the GWP did get the BIS, I think it ties him for the most BIS for a GWP.

  3. I'm digging into this because my memory is not too sharp these days...but I can't recall another GWP with 28 BIS's, Scout may have already topped the record.

  5. I have confirmed that the Affenpinscher was, in fact, the BIS winner at Sunday's show.
