THIS WEEKEND IN ILLINOIS

Even with all the excitement on the east and west coasts, it would be a mistake to overlook the happenings in the heartland.

CH Sno Klassic Play The Game

The Edwardsville Illinois Kennel Club gave us two shows this weeklend in Belleville IL . On Saturday Barbara Dempsey Alderman saw the Gordon Setter, CH Firethorn & Sandpiper Easy On The Eyes, the Smooth Dachshund, CH Kochanas Hiswill Ain't Misbehavin, the Alaskan Malamute, CH Sno Klassic Play The Game, the Dandie Dinmont Terrier, CH Kings Mtn Minnie Mouse, the Papillon, CH Wingssong Rock Star, the Schipperke, CH Dante Fire When Ready HOF, and the Old English Sheepdog, CH Lambluv's Daydream Believer.

It was the Malamute’s, Player, twelfth BIS this year. Congratulations to breeders/owners Martin & Patricia Peel, co-breeder Cindy Benson, and handler Erin Gimbut.

CH Liontamer's Dial 1-800 Hotstuff

On day two, Beth Speich had the same Malamugte & Dandie, with the English Springer Spaniel, CH Wil-Orion's Twenty Twenty, the Basenji, CH Ab-Rafiki The Icon Of Cool, the Pug, J-K Broughcastle Boomerang, the Chow Chow, CH Liontamer's Dial 1-800 Hotstuff, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, CH Calloway Pixie Dust.

Her Best was the Chow, his second of the year. The two year old was bred by Jaquelin Greene & Karen Tracy. Karen co-owns with Gerry & Richard Roberts. Jan Kolnik handled to the win. Congratulations to them all.
