TEXAS & COLORADO SHOWS

CH Hi-Kel Terrydale Soldier Of Fortune

Deep in the heart of Texas, Lubbock, that is, there were shows from the Heart Of The Plains Kennel Club. We told you about Saturday’s show already. Sunday’s BIS judge was Dr Steve Keating and his finalists were the Vizsla, CH Renaissance Girls Gone Wild, the Rhodesian Ridgeback, CH Tji-Wara's Distant Drums, Saturday’s BIS winner, the Boxer, CH Bravo N Sunset Stealing Time, the Lakeland Terrier, CH Hi-Kel Terrydale Soldier Of Fortune, the Maltese, CH Rhapsody's Too Many Remarks, the Miniature Poodle, CH Alegria Shamus, the Rough Collie, CH Gentry's Braveheart.

BIS went to the nation’s number three Terrier, the Lakeland, Ranger. Ranger is currently the country’s number 15 dog all breeds. Has anyone noticed that the US’s top three Terrier all have won a BIS this weekend as a warm up for this coming weekends all Terrier Super Bowl, Montgomery County?

CH Goldentrip Snow Dream

Continuing to the west, we head to Gran Junction CO and the Grand Valley Kennel Club. Saturday, Kenneth Buxton collected the Golden Retriever, CH Goldentrip Snow Dream, the Whippet, Amberwind Nassau Indigo Moon FCH JC, the Samoyed, CH T-Snow Star’s Journe Of The Heart, the Irish Terrier, CH X-Tra Special Kalaney Girl, the Pekingese, CH Dunkirk’s I’m Gonna Live Forever, the French Bulldog, Dejavo It’s Al About Me, and the Australian Cattle Dog, CH Briarbrooks All Wound Up. Bis went to the Golden, Sarah, her second this year.

Sunday’s Best In Show was judged by Dr Robert Smith who had the pleasure of the company of the Golden Retriever, CH Sonora’s Havin’ A Good Time, Longhaired Dachshund, CH Xerlane‘s Supersonic, Sarturday finalist, the Sammie, the Welsh Terrier, CH Cambrian Four Star General, the abovementioned Peke, the Schipperke, CH Bonchien Mr. Monopoly, and the Old English Sheepdog, CH Bugaboo’s Georgie Girl. It was a big day for the ring’s smallest dog, as the Peke collected his second BIS of the year.
