We think nothing could be more apropos than a Scottish Terrier called “Queenie” should take the top prize at Saturday’s Kennel Club of Beverly Hills show in the shadow of the Queen Mary in Long Beach CA.
GCH CH Sandpiper's Let Freedom Ring
GCH CH Round Town Queen of Hearts of Maryscot was judge Shirley Limoges BIS and the Golden Retriever, GCH CH Sandpiper's Let Freedom Ring, was her RBIS. Rounding out her final were the Bloodhound, GCH CH Quiet Creek's Limited Edition, the Boxer, GCH CH Encore’s Sovereign, the Brussels Griffon, GCH CH Cashnross a Brief Furlough, the Chines Shar-Pei, GCH CH Brekkukot’s Allies with Underdog, and the Australian Cattle Dog, GCH CH Kokopelli's SoBeIt.
Queenie, the daughter of the 2010 Westminster Kennel Club Best In Show winner, CH Roundtown Mercedes of Maryscot, is this year’s Number Two Terrier, with 13 BIS and 27 Terrier Groups.
