BOUVIER BEST IN INDIANAPOLIS

GCH CH Stonepillar’s Steel Blu

This week’s Indy Winter Classic in Indianapolis is traditionally a chance to pick up extra points while on one’s way to New York and the Westminster Kennel Club show.  This year the cluster opens a full 11 days before the world’s most famous dog show.   Today’s opener, hosted by the Central Indiana Kennel Club, drew 1652 entries in the regular classes.

GCH CH Flessner’s International S’cess

The seven dogs that made it to judge James White’s final were the English Springer Spaniel, GCH CH Telltale American Ride, the Bloodhound, GCH CH Flessner’s International S’cess, the Rottweiler, GCH CH Gamegards I’ll Have Another V Braeside RN, the Wire Fox Terrier, Hampton Courts Monte Cristo, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Bonitos Companeros Dow Jones, the Chinese Shar-Pei, GCH CH Shine’s Deck the Halls, and the Bouvier des Flandres, GCH CH Stonepillar’s Steel Blu.

Taking the top awards were the Bouvier, Blue, and the Bloodhound, Nathan.  It was the first BIS of the year for Blue, who finished 2014 as the Number Six Herding Dog with six BIS and 36 Herding Groups.  Congratulations to breeders/owners Julianna & Daniel Garrison, co-breeder MJ Sears, and owner/handler Elaine Paquette.
