FIRST DAY FIREWORKS IN ORLANDO

GCH CH Flessner’s International S’Cess

The action at the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship continued after lunch with lots of drama as both of the nation’s top two Afghan Hounds (also the Number Four & Five Hounds) GCH CH Tells Matrix Reloaded and GCH CH Thaon’s Wallstreet were bested in the breed by GCH CH Beaujon's Breaking News.   However the country’s the Number One Hound and Number Ten Dog All Breeds, the Bloodhound, GCH CH Flessner’s International S’Cess, and the Number Nine and Number Ten Hounds, the Otterhound, GCH CH Aberdeen’s Under The Influence, and the Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen, GCH CH M&M’s Fear the Beard, will all be in judge Michael Dougherty’s group tonight. 

GCH CH Ashdown’s Time to Thrill

Sporting Dogs were more predictable as the Number Six and Number Ten Sporting Dog, the Black Cocker Spaniel, GCH CH Ashdown’s Time to Thrill, and the Irish Setter, GCH CH Militza's My Cherie Amour, both heading for tonight’s judging under Edd Bivin.

GCH CH Hitimes What the Inferno

AKC’s Number One Toy Dog and Number Six Dog All Breeds, the Pomeranian, GCH CH Hitimes What the Inferno, had opted out of the week’s earlier warmups,  but showed up when it counted, taking the breed today.  Also advancing to judge Peggy Lloyd’s group this evening was the Number Four Toy Dog, the Papillon, GCH CH InVolo The King of Pop.

CH Afterglow Maverick Sabre

The Standard Poodle ring is always four rows deep in Orlando and today was no different as the nation’s top two Non-Sporting Dogs, GCH CH Dawin Hearts on Fire, and GCH CH Del Zarzoso Salvame From Afterglow squared off.  However, it would be the latter’s son, the 2013 AENC World Challenge winner & the 2014 Crufts BIS winner, CH Afterglow Maverick Sabre, who would win the purple and advance to judge Toddie Clark’s group this evening. Likewise the Boston Terrier, GCH CH Ken's Always Gets The Last Laugh, would best the Number Ten Non-Sporting Dog, GCH CH Naughty Norteno's Clik Clik Bang.  They will be joined tonight by the Number Four, Five, Six, & Eight Non-Sporting Dogs, the Keeshond, GCH CH Skyline's Unit Of Measure,the Xoloitzcuintli, GCH CH Bayshore Giorgio Armani, the Bichon Frise, GCH CH Saks Winning Card, & the Dalmatian, GCH CH Spotted Bliss Oreo Delight.
