PWD TIES WORKING DOG RECORD

The Portuguese Water Dog, GCH CH Claircreek’s Impression de Matisse, made another entry into AKC’s record books today by winning his 124th career Best In Show at today’s Columbia Kennel Club show in Concord NC. The win ties the record for most BIS by a Working Dog set by the Doberman Pinscher, CH Brunswig’s Cryptonite.

Challenging Matisse for judge Francine Schwartz’ attention was the German Shorthaired Pointer, GCH CH Robin Crest Edelmarke Investigator, the RBIS, the Bloodhound, GCH CH Flessner's International S'Cess, the Welsh Terrier, GCH CH Shaireab’s Bayleigh Maid of Honor, the Japanese Chin, CH Chindale’s Anything She Wants, the Chinese Shar-Pei, GCH CH Shine’s Deck the halls, and the German Shepherd Dog, CH Wonderland’s Force of Nature. 

 Matisse is this year's Number One Dog All Breeds with 28 BIS and 38 Working Groups.
