The nation’s Number Two Dog, the Portuguese Water Dog, GCH CH Claircreek’s Impression de Matisse, was entered in Thursday’s Penn Treaty Kennel Club show in suburban Philadelphia, but opted to compete in yesterday’s  Canadian Valley Kennel Club show in  Chickasha OK.   Matisse ended the day collecting the BIS from judge Walter Sommerfelt.

Judge Sommerfelt would also like the Pug, GCH CH Caper’s Sirius Endeavor, whom he gave the RBIS.  Rounding out Thursday’s final were the Brittany, GCH CH Rainbow Splash’s Ruggedly Handsome, the Rhodesian Ridgeback, GCH CH  Raquel Welch of Malabo APD, the Kerry Blue terrier, GCH CH Ciarrai’s Beltane Embers, the Dalmatian, GCH CH Spotted Bliss Oreo Delight, and the Pembroke welsh Corgi, GCH CH Riverside Get Over It.

The win brings Matisse’s 2013 record to 80 BIS and 117 Working Groups.
