We awake this morning to results from two western shows. First from Los Lunas NM, we hear that the Harrier, GCH CH Downhome Hitech Innovator, was judge Gay Dunlap’s Best In Show at yesterday’s Sangre de Cristo Kennel Club show.

Judge Dunlap also like the Toy Poodle, GCH CH Smash Jp Winning Ribbon, for her Reserve.  Rounding out the final were the Clumber Spaniel, GCH CH Clussexx Collaboration With Traddles, the Anatolian Shepherd Dog, CH Carpe Diem's Amadeus, the Miniature Bull Terrier, GCH CH Dytona VIP, the Chinese Shar-Pei, GCH CH Vaje’s Jethrene Bodine, and the German Shepherd Dog, CH Sunfarm Black Mask Cantar.  It was Chet’s tenth BIS in 58 final appearances.

The country’s Number One Dog All Breeds, the Wire Fox Terrier, GCH CH AfterAll Painting the Sky, increased her already impressive lead with another BIS.  Sky’s latest win came at yesterday’s Lizard Butte Kennel Club 50th Anniversary show in Boise ID.  We suppose Judge Jeraldene Crandall might have chosen English Springer Spaniel, GCH CH Hil-N-Don & Canyonwood Seemore Of Me, the Borzoi, GCH CH Majenkir Bookstor Vintage Glamour, the Newfoundland, GCH CH Susitna's Deal Me In, the Silky Terrier, GCH CH Tawny Mist Myan Mystic, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Brighton Lakeridge Encore, or the dog she gave the RBIS, the Belgian Tervuren, GCH CH Sky Acres Flying Solo, but she didn’t.

For those keeping score, Sky now has 101 career BIS, 62 of which have come this year.
