We next return to Amana IA where the Tri-City Kennel Club and the Cedar Rapids Kennel Association were set up for four days this past week.  We did tell you that Friday’s TCKC show was won by the Brussels Griffons, CH Fist Face A Penny For Your Thoughts.

Saturday’s TCKC final was called by judge Paula Hartinger.  The seven she considered were the Flat-Coated Retriever, CH Heirborn Moor Bang For The Buck, the 15” Beagle, GCH CH Daniel Boon Pelaez, the Newfoundland, GCH CH Pouch Cove’s Seabrook Enough Said, the Australian Terrier, GCH CH Temora Ri Diercc, the Shih Tzu, CH Jadesilk Luv T’auburn Locks, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Dawin hearts on Fire, and the Puli, CH Cordmaker Topsy Turvey.  Her Best was the Shih Tzu, Joelene, and her Reserve, the Standard Poodle, Flame.

Judge Roger Hartinger had Monday’s closer and his pick of the previously seen Flat Coat, Newfoundland, Airedale, Shih Tzu, & Standard Poodle, the Wirehaired Dachshund, CH Twinkies Orrin at Carowynd, and the Old English Sheepdog, GCH CH Lambluv Live the Dream.

The Shih Tzu, Jolene, would pack up her second BIS of the set while the Newfoundland would collect the RBIS.  That’s number seven this year for Jolene and handler Mandy Carlson…and still we have no photo.
