GCH CH Mytoys Epic Against the Wind
We have a true Monday Morning Mop Up this morning with
reports from several sites we have previously visited over the weekend. This season has been one for fresh faces and
this weekend saw several dogs pick up their first BIS of the year. You can check our archives for the earlier reports.
First, the carpet baggers have left Houston for other venues
and Texas natives flocked to Longview TX where the hometown Longview Kennel
Club gave us two shows this weekend. It was one of those native sons, the Bulldog,
GCH CH Mytoys Epic Against the Wind, who took home to Fort Worth Sunday’s
BIS. Joining Ralph and
breeder/owner/handler Dennis O’Connor in Jacqueline Stacy’s final were the
Brittany, GCH CH Rainbow Splash’s Ruggedly Handsome, the Whippet, GCH CH Starline’s
Oxford Victim Of Love, the Akita, GCH CH Stardust’s See You At The Show RN, the
Smooth Fox Terrier, GCH CH Sayo’s Jai Ho, the Reserve winner, CH Maltangel
Heavenly Vision, and the Australian Shepherd, GCH CH Broadways Cruisin Like
Royalty Of Canyon Lake.
CH Maltangel Heavenly Vision
It’s the first Best In Show in nine final appearances this
year for the country’s Number One Bulldog.
Congratulations to Dennis, breeders/owners Ann McDearmon & Terri
O'Connor, co-breeder Dan Haley, and owner Linda Scott.
GCH CH PBJ’s Fearless
The Lackawanna Kennel Club wrapped their abbreviated two
show stop in Bloomburg PA Saturday with Gloria Geringer in the final ring with
the Black Cocker Spaniel, GCH CH PBJ’s Fearless, the American Foxhound, GCH CH
Kiarry’s Pandora’s Box, the Rottweiler, GCH CH Eis Haus Ivy League Big Red CD TDI
CGC, the Wire Fox Terrier, GCH CH Crispy’s Legacy, the Pekingese, GCH CH Yakee’s
Easily Persuaded, the Bichon Frise, GCH CH Vogelflight’s “Honor” to Pillowtalk,
and the Australian Shepherd, CH Rosevalley’s Special Edition.
GCH CH Crispy’s Legacy
Judge Gerigner’s top two were the Cocker, Taylor, and the
Wire Fox, Sparky. It’s the first of the
year for Taylor and handler Per Ingar Rismyhr.
Congratulations to breeder/owner Beate Pruitt, co-breeder Jamey Pruitt,
and owner Megan Pruitt.
Out on the west coast fanciers had the option of the Lompoc
Valley Kennel Club’s two shows in that Southern California town or the Hurricane
Ridge Kennel Club Of Washington two shows in Sequim WA.
It was the Scottish Deerhound from Washington State, GCH CH Jaraluv’s Tarot, picking up his first BIS at Sunday’s LVKC show. Judge Jon Cole would also like the German Shorthaired Pointer, GCH CH Dogwdcreek's La Vita E Belle, for his RBIS. Rounding out the seven were the Doberman Pinscher, CH Marienburg’s Special Ops Commando, the Wire Fox Terrier, GCH CH AfterAll Painting the Sky, the Affenpinscher, GCH CH Tamarin Tarheel, the Keeshond, GCH CH Summerwind Rumor Has It, and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Coventry Allure at Wyndstar.

Tarot is the son of 2008’s Number Nine Dog All Breed’s, CH
Jaraluv’s Ouija. We love it when the
good breeding shows through.
Congratulations to breeders/owners Jana & Ray Brinlee and handler
Stuart McGraw. We hope to have a photo
for you soon.
GCH CH Cambria’s Kid N Play
Up in the Pacific Northwest, it was the Miniature Bull Terrier,
GCH CH Cambria’s Kid N Play, taking home the Best and the Golden Retriever, GCH
CH Rush Hill’s Drama’Geddon JH, picking up the Reserve award. We suppose judge Lynne Myall might have
chosen the Basenji, GCH CH Jasiri-Sukari Win Tin Tin, the Doberman Pinscher,
GCH CH Tiburon Arsenal, the Silky Terrier, GCH CH Tawny Mist Myan Mystic, the Chow
Chow, Padow’s Too Hot To Handle, or the
Cardigan Welsh Corgi, GCH CH Mariel’s Harvest Moon, but she didn’t.
GCH CH Rush Hill’s Drama’Geddon JH
Kid is AKC’s Number One Mini Bull with five BIS and 16
Terrier Groups this year.
