The Oakland Kennel Club was up Saturday in Vallejo CA and Dorothy MacDonald took over
the final ring. The seven she greeted
were the Field Spaniel, GCH CH Promenade's Pay It Forward, the Norwegian
Elkhound, GCH CH Vin-Melca's The Norseman, the Rottweiler, GCH CH Chancellor
Flirt's High Flyin' Gladiator, the Wire Fox Terrier, GCH CH AfterAll Painting
the Sky, the Pekingese, CH Oakhill’s Caught Red Handed, the Bichon Frise, GCHCH
PaRay’s Power & Privilege, and the Old English Sheepdog, GCH CH Zottels
Shaggy Star.

Her BIS was the Elkhound, Erik. Her RBIS was the Wire Fox, Sky. Erik, handled by the most celebrated
breeder/owner in AKC history, Pat Trotter is only shown on a limited basis, but
still managed to finish 2012 as the country’s Number One Norwegian Elkhound with
three BIS and 18 Hound Groups. Saturday’s
win was his first of 2013 in five final appearances. Congratulations to Pat, co-breeder Vicki L
Vermillion and co-owner Jennifer Reed.
CH Montrose Fire On The Runway
James Noe had the closer for the OKC and the company of the same
Field Spaniel, the Harrier, GCH CH Downhome Hi-Tech Innovator, the Samoyed, Glacier's
Goddess of Fire, the Wire, Sky, the Miniature Pinscher, GCH CH Brackley My
Amazing Warrior, the Boston Terrier, GCH CH Gunther’s Gussied Up Edna, and the
Australian Shepherd, CH Montrose Fire On The Runway.
Best went to the country’s Number One Dog All Breeds, the
Wire Fox, Sky. Reserve went to the Aussie, Fire. The win was Sky’s third
of the four show stop and her 13th of the year.
