Starting the weekend off on a high note were the Schnauzer,
Justin, who received the Reserve award and the OES, Sue, who took home her
first AKC BIS. US born Sue has recently
returned from Ireland where she was the Number One Pastoral (Herding) Dog in
2009, 2010, & 2012. This is her
first AKC BIS. Congratulations to
breeder/owner/handler Jere Marder, co-breeder Lynn Levine, and owners Kay
Richardson & Colm Hastings.

Sunday Sue would be back to see BIS judge Mary Lou Kniola
along with the above named Setter, Whippet, Schnauzer, Pug, the St Bernard, GCH
CH Jamelle’s Aristocrat v Alba, and the Keeshond, GCH CH Karolina Bonnyvale
Meant to Be. Her top two were the
English Setter, Trevor, with the BIS and Sue, the OES, with the Reserve. In a 2012, a year in which it was tough to be
a Sporting Dog, Trevor was the Number Ten sporting Dog, collecting 15 BIS and
39 Sporting Groups.
