DAYS 1 & 2 IN HELENA MT

GCH CH Mt View’s Ripsnorter Silver Charm

After 24 hours without a computer, we have a new laptop loaded with all our old files.  So, without further delay, let’s catch you up on what’s going on.  The only all breed shows these past two days have been the Gallatin Kennel Club’s two shows in Helena MT.  Despite the remoteness of the site, many of our top dogs showed up for a chance at scarce all breed points.

GCH CH Charisma Maxim Von Diable

On Thursday Barbara Dempsey Alderman had the pleasure of choosing her Top Two from the German Wirehaired Pointer, GCH CH Mt View’s Ripsnorter Silver Charm, the Harrier, GCH CH Downhome Hitech Innovator, the Standard Schnauzer, GCH CH Charisma Maxim Von Diable, the Welsh Terrier, GCH CH Darwyn's I'm Not Arguing That, the Papillon, Salatino La Dame Sans Camelia, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Brighton Lakeridge Encore, and the German Shepherd Dog, GCH CH Lakota's Hitman of Cantar.

The two she chose were the country’s Number Two Dog All Breeds, the GWP, Oakley, and the Standard Schnauzer, Max.  Oakley’s 49th BIS of the year will put him tantalizingly close to Number One.

GCH CH Darwyn's I'm Not Arguing That

Friday Oakley would be back, along with the above named Harrier, Welsh Terrier, and GSD.  Rounding out  Mark Houston-McMillan’s final were the Samoyed, GCH CH Glacier's N Rowdy's Czargent Trouble, the Pomeranian, Randy’s Huckleberry Friend, and the Bichon Frise, GCH CH PaRay’s Power & Privilege.

Oakley would go home with the RBIS while the Welsh Terrier, Joe, would get his first AKC BIS.  Joe is the top winning Welsh Terrier in Canadian history with 28 BIS, but he is breeder/owner Larisa Hotchin’s first homebred AKC BIS winner.  Congratulations to Larisa and handlers Milton Lopes & Ash Oldfield.
