WEST SPRINGFIELD MA, DAY THREE

GCH CH Mt View’s Ripsnorter Silver Charm

The Kenilworth Kennel Club Of Connecticut had the third day in west Springfield MA and an outstanding field to choose his BIS and RBIS from.  The were the German Wirehaired Pointer, GCH CH Mt View’s Ripsnorter Silver Charm, the  Scottish Deerhound, GCH CH Brackenshire Scotch n Ice, the Standard Schnauzer, GCH CH Maxim von Diable, the Scottish Terrier, GCH CH Lomondview Clementina, the Affenpinscher, GCH CH Banana Joe V Tani Kazari, the Xoloitzcuintli, GCH CH Bayshore Giorgio Armani, and the Old English Sheepdog, GCH CH Windfall Slam Dunk.

Runner up today was the Affenpinscher, Joey, but the big prize went to the country’s Number One Dog All Breeds, the GWP, Oakley.  Oakley and handler Phil Booth have had an incredible run this year, collecting 34 BIS along the way, seven of which have come in the last 14 days.  All we can say is, “Wow!”

    1. Nope, Which means we will see the RBIS getting fewer points than the dogs he/she defeated in many cases.

  2. I've no connection to Oakley or even GWPs, being a terrier gal myself, but this dog just makes my heart sing! Beautifully put together and always so alert and "on." Would love to see this dog in the field -- bet he'd be a goer with stamina for days. We have some gorgeous dogs out there this year -- Peyton, FiFi, so many great ones.

  3. Pardon my ignorance, but what is the point of having a RBIS?
