They tell me that Victorville CA will soon be known as the location to catch a high speed train to Las Vegas. However, for now they are known as the site of the Apple Valley Kennel Club’s dog shows. We gave you a report on Saturday’s show earlier. Here’s what happened on Sunday.
The seven who spent all day Sunday on the edge of the Mojave Desert were the English Setter, GCH CH Oakley’s B’Dazzled, the Whippet, GCH CH Starline’s Chanel, the Boxer, GCH CH R and G’s Mystical Dancer, a Standard Manchester Terrier from the Puppy class, Starfire's Hottest Topic In Town, the Havanese, GCH CH Bellatak McDreamy, the Chow Chow, GCH CH Fortune's All Eyez On Me, the Canaan Dog, GCH CH Pleasant Hill Magnum Of Samara.
The one who took home the big rosette was the Boxer, Danny. That’s his fourth of the year for the Number Eleven Dog All Breeds and it puts him in a virtual tie with the Number Ten Dog.
Correction: Terrier group was won by the standard Manchester Terrier Starfire's Hottest Topic In Town, a puppy from the classes. Way to win a first major! https://www.akc.org/events/conformation/weekly_wins/2012/may/13.cfm
