ALL THE FUN FROM FREEHOLD

GCH CH Bayshore Georgio Armani

With 53 all breed shows this past week, it will take us a while to get through them all, so let’s get started.  There were three five show clusters this week.  We have given you all the results of the Western Michigan Apple Blossom Cluster in Kalamazoo MI where we have been on site these past five days.  We also reported out on the Thursday & Friday shows in Freehold NJ.

Here‘s the rest of the story.  Saturday’s final at the Monmouth County Kennel Club show was called by Keke Kahn.  She chose her Best of the Labrador Retriever, GCH CH Casbar's Hart To Hart, the Rhodesian Ridgeback, GCH CH Whirlaways Ida Belle's A Ringing, the Doberman Pinscher, GCH CH D's Remember When, the Cairn Terrier, GCH CH Dogwood Treasure Hunter, the Miniature Pinscher, GCH CH Kimro's Dora The Explorer, the Xoloitzcuintli, GCH CH Bayshore Georgio Armani, and the Old English Sheepdog, GCH CH Windfall Slam Dunk.

Her BIS was the Xoloitzcuintli, Armani.  (It’s pronounced Show Low Eats Kent Lee, some pronounce it Show Low Eats Quint Lee, but then those people never met Raquel Welch)  It’s the first this year for Armani, who last year became the first Xolo to win an all breed Best In Show.  Congratulations to breeder/owner Frank Bayliss, owners Lynda Hylton & Traci Johnson, and handler Gwen DeMilta.

GCH CH Snocrest's Leone Di Oro

Sunday’s show was hosted by the Plainfield Kennel Club and Sunday’s final was judged by Christian Stephanescu.  The seven dogs welcoming the Romanian were the Weimaraner, GCH CH Northwood’s send Money Honey, the aforementioned Rhodesian, the Siberian Husky, GCH CH Snocrest's Leone Di Oro, the Norwich Terrier, GCH CH Foxwoods Chasing A Dream, the Toy Manchester Terrier, GCH CH Cottage Lake Bela Horizonte, the Xolo, Armani, and the Bearded Collie, GCH CH Dunhill Celebration.

Sunday’s big rosette went to the Siberian, Vali.  It’s the first BIS for the four year old dog.  Congratulations to breeders/owners Shira Lee Barkon & Mark A Shveima, co-breeder Jean Edwards, and handler Michael Scott.

GCH CH Torquay Be Nice To Me

The Union County Kennel Club had the closer and Raymond Swidersky had the final final.  The seven who made it all the way were the previously mentioned the Irish setter, GCH CH Fyrethorn Pay It Forward, the 15” Beagle, GCH CH Torquay Be Nice To Me, the previously mentioned Doberman, the Miniature Schnauzer, GCH CH Blythewood Full Metal Jacket, the Smooth Coat Chihuahua, GCH CH Silver Bluff Mahogany Sonador, the Dalmatian, GCH CH Spotlight’s Ruffian, and the Beauceron, CH Beowolf Rime Des Monts Du Lac.

The last dog to leave was the Beagle, JR.  JR and breeder/owner/handler have accumulated four BIS this year, two this month.
